I wonder when (or if) we will observe meteorology on other worlds. What would be necessary to observe it? On Earth, we often associate the life giving precipitation coming from rain or thunderstorms. To see this on another world, we might look for signatures of lightning since they are a source of plasma. But that is probably more than a decade away to get the sensitivity. In the mean time, we can brush up on what we know about Earth weather.
